There was practically no waiting in line. SECRET TO SUCCESS: Sit at the bar. The tall chairs are sturdy and comfy. Soup de jour was "chicken tortilla soup", my all time favorite. Slightly milder than I prefer, but melissa thought it was perfect. Bartender came around to refresh drinks, and then brought out our main course on time. I got the Guinness Glazed Angus Sirloin. It was excellent! The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and the texture was just how I like it . The glaze was almost too sweet at first bite, but settled into a perfect, delicate balance for every bite thereafter. The lightly-salted 'dirty' mashed potatoes had a great texture and the fresh green beans were ... okay, not my favorite veggie but were tasty, well presented and plentiful. Melissa ordered the NEW Jameson BBQ Chicken & shrimp combo with loaded mash potatos and fresh green beans. That meal disappeared almost completely. She reported the Chicken had good flavor and was tender but the shrimp were absolutely wonderfull.
For dessert, we went all out and ordered all 3 of the new mini desserts: banana cream pie, strawberry cheese cake & chocolate peanut butter pie. They were all magnificent but I would suggest not ordering all 3 at the same time. ; )

Bennigan's has a fun atmosphere with Great staff.
Generous portions. Plenty of parking. Fast Service. New music on the stereo.
